It always pays to be suspicious when "business" emails do not have a proper letterhead, are not directed
to you specifically, any referenced addresses are generic such as from yahoo, gmail, hotmail or gmx accounts, and there is no reference to a name or telephone number of the person who sent the letter ..

The following email is very dubious ..
It comes from a yahoo email site and asks you to return email to a gmail site ..
The name of the person supposedly sending the email has nothing to do with the email address or the name of the person writing the letter ..
The generic letter proper does not include any information as to whom it is directed to ..
There is no mention of what the position is ..   This should be made illegal to stop this type of scam email ..
Please be careful and report to your nearest scamwatch site ..

    This email is trouble ..
    It seems so considerate ..
It even seems to have a proper letterhead (though placed at the bottom of the message) ..
It seems to be from a group that uses the first part of their website address to try other scams,
    for example : [asiacenter]-nic.org ..
They also seems they have been around for at least 2 years and are becoming more professional in their presentation ..
It is suggested by some watchdogs that they may be trying to take your domain names from you ..

Be very wary of these types of offers of help ..

(If you are NOT CEO,please forward this to your CEO, because this is urgent.Thanks.)

    Dear CEO,

We are the department of registration service in China. we have something which needs to confirm with you. We formally received an application on  August 2th, 2011. One company called "Askeo Asia Trading Co.,Ltd" is applying to register " ########" as Brand name and domain names as below:

    ########.asia
    ########.cn
    ########.com.cn
    ########.com.hk
    ########.com.tw
    ########.hk
    ########.net.cn
    ########.tw

After our initial checking, we found the Brand name and domain names being applied are as same as your company! So we need confirmation with your company. If the aforementioned company is your business partner or your subsidiary, please DO NOT reply us, we will approve the application automatically. If you don't have any relationship with this company, please contact us within 5 workdays. This email could get you into a lot of trouble ..
They are not affiliated with seek.com.au and your resume should not have been available to them from that site ..
If you check the originating address, you will find it comes from a generic address usually in the form of a yahoo, hotmail or gmail account ..
    There is no letterhead ..
It is not grammatical in its opening line and the monetary symbol is in the wrong place ..
This usually indicates it is written overseas in a country that is not in continuous contact with Australia ..
The term "Funds Transfer Manager" should ring alarm bells ..
It sounds like you may get involved in a scam yourself ..

It may pay to forward these emails to seek.com.au to report this apparent breach of confidentiality ..
Be very wary of these types of offers ..

The corporation "VINCENT YOUNG TREND" is searching staff.
We got your CV from the site www.seek.com.au and we will be glad to work together with you.
The position is Funds Transfer Manager.
Our manager typically gets about 1300$ per week.
    It depends on completed work.
You do not have to have any skills and experience to work in our firm.
Most vital thing for us is your desire to work!
There are just two requirements - you have to be online from your PC as long as possible and of course your desire to work with us.

Feel free to contact us via email.

This email is basically stupid ..
If you check their webpages which the email is supposed to have originated from (which seem to change with the seasons), they nearly always seems to be under construction, and this is strange as the offer has been pushed since at least 2009 ..
As can be seen at this link (and many others), it is a total scam ..

This email is a scam that can lose you your domain name ..    Be careful ..
It came from this address : domai763b@hotmail.com
This immediately warns you that it should be ignored as it is a freebie email address that has no affiliations with a legitimate company .. AND it has no business name on the heading ..
It also gives a false expiry date on the domain so it would take your money long before (in this case 2 months before) your true expiry date on your domain would warn you of the ending of your account ..
The moral here is to check any email that comes from an unknown source and that is trying to scare you into registering or paying for something you are already covered for ..

This email is definitely a scam ..
The United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does NOT send out emails unless they are just flyers ..
It certainly does not discuss personal information as stated, over the internet ..
You will also notice it tries to redirect you to a sub-branch R21.  This takes you to another site altogether ..
Some of the telephone numbers they supply (after the area code) begin with 555 ..

    Please be careful ..
